THE ELECTIONS IN SEND ON 7th MAY 2015 

There will be the opportunity in Send to vote in three different elections – one national and two local.

The polling booth is in Lancaster Hall located at 28 Send Road, GU23 7ET.

PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS – for a Member of Parliament (MP)

Send is in the Mole Valley constituency.

Our former MP is Sir Paul Beresford (Conservative). There are five candidates from the Green, Conservative, Labour and Liberal Democrat parties and UKIP.

You can vote for ONE MP from the candidates nominated.

GUILDFORD BOROUGH COUNCIL (GBC) ELECTIONS – for Borough Councillors

Send is in Guildford Borough.

Our current Borough Councillors are Keith Taylor (Conservative) and Terence Patrick (Conservative).  Neither is seeking re-election. There are seven candidates, from the Conservative, Guildford Greenbelt Group, Labour and Liberal  Democrat parties.

You can vote for up to TWO Borough Councillors from the candidates nominated.

SEND PARISH COUNCIL (SPC) ELECTIONS – for members of SPC

SPC is non-party political.  Three of the current nine members of the council are not seeking re-election. There are 13 candidates.

You can vote for up to NINE SPC members from the candidates nominated.
